About Us

“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high.” Founded in 1991, the institution was like a sprout in its initial stage. It was inseminated by Utpal Karmakar, who endowed the name ‘Krishti’ which means ‘culture’. It’s a culturally strong institution, though surrounded by the domestic walls, but always keeps the head high. As the days past, the institution which started with only painting department joined a few students, gradually becomes a small plant. Apart from painting Krishti then started other departments like: music, rabindra sangeet, dance, katthak rabindra nritta, tabala, and recitation. Krishti grew up steadily and it opened a completely new horizon. Krishti’s ‘Krittiwa’ had been introduced in 2004 as a kindergarten with a complete child development package, like painting, dance and computer. Krishti again and again proves that it is not only an institution, but also a second home for all students. Krishti also launched a new section for those children who hate math. In 2008, Aloha becomes a part of this organization. Yes slow but steadily Krishti is now quiet a big tree. Now in 2017 Krishti has started a new English medium school, My World English Academy and is going to start a new department, Spoken English very shortly. This time it is the 27th year of tremendous journey of krishti and hopefully this overwhelming magnificence will be carried on perennially.
